Ikshana

Mental health, stress management and personal-safety workshops for school students, led by trained counsellors and psychology volunteers.

Overview

Ikshana brings mental health and stress management workshops into government and private schools, with a focus on students who cannot afford professional help. Saadhak Foundation and the District Interact Council RID 3011 signed an MOU for the project at the annual meet, Manthan, in March 2024.

Facilitators and psychology volunteers are trained before they go into classrooms, including sessions on communication, stress management and storytelling. The same team runs awareness workshops on topics such as personal safety and the rights of children under the POCSO Act.
