Saadhak Foundation is a journey of people, ideas, and a shared belief that we can do more for the world around us. What began as a small step towards social change continues to grow through education, collective action, and the conviction that everyone deserves an opportunity to move forward.

Our story

It Began With a Belief

Saadhak Foundation was founded in 2021 on a simple yet powerful belief: *a little for yourself, and everything for others.*

We started with a question, what can a group of determined people do to make a difference? We believed that change didn't always need grand beginnings; sometimes, it needed people willing to take the first step and keep going.

Over time, that belief grew into a shared effort to make education more accessible, help young people discover their potential, and bring communities together around meaningful causes. Each initiative has been an opportunity to learn, to build, and to understand the work that social change truly demands.

Today, Saadhak is growing beyond its beginnings, bringing together people from different backgrounds who share a common purpose. We are still learning, still building, and still asking ourselves how we can do better.

Because for us, Saadhak is not just about what we do. It is about what we choose to stand for, and what we are willing to do about it.

    Apoorv Tyagi

    A corporate techie and a social activist at heart, Apoorv brings together his professional experience in technology, software development, and data science with a strong commitment to social change. As the Founder/Trustee and President of Saadhak Foundation, he works towards building meaningful initiatives in education, skill development, and youth empowerment. He is passionate about bringing people together, developing new ideas, and building systems that turn a shared vision into action.

    Somya Tomar

    A communications and digital marketing professional with over three years of experience, Somya brings expertise in corporate communications, social media strategy, and campaign management. She works with government and private sector clients across diverse industries, building relationships and turning ideas into engaging campaigns and compelling stories. At Saadhak Foundation, she brings her communication skills and creative perspective to strengthening outreach, building connections, and helping ideas reach the people they are meant to serve.

    Sonam Sabharwal

    A child development professional with over three years of experience, Sonam brings a child-centred and inclusive approach to her work with neurodivergent and neurotypical children. Having worked across schools and healthcare settings, she specialises in supporting parents, guiding educators, and creating learning environments that recognise every child's individual needs. With a strong belief in empathetic care and inclusive education, she works towards helping children build confidence, emotional resilience, and the freedom to reach their full potential.

    Harsh Desai

    Harsh is a finance professional with around 15 years of experience and a keen interest in research and social development. As the Project Lead of Saadhak's Narrative & Risk Analysis Unit (NRAU), he contributes to research, strategic thinking, and the understanding of complex social issues. His interest in human behaviour, psychology, and community dynamics reflects his belief that meaningful social change requires not just action, but also deeper understanding, informed perspectives, and thoughtful intervention. His journey with Saadhak began during his psychology studies and continues through his commitment to research-driven social impact.

    A young leader with a strong interest in social impact and community development, Vidit is pursuing his BBA at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. As the Operations Lead at Saadhak Foundation, he focuses on bringing structure to ideas, coordinating people, and ensuring that the organisation’s vision translates into meaningful action. With an interest in youth leadership and grassroots development, he believes that lasting social change comes from collective effort, consistent execution, and a willingness to take responsibility.
